Let me introduce Sharon Warley. My sister who is an amazing beautiful soul who has helped me along my journey and now wants to help as many other ladies as she can.

Hi, I'm Sharon and I work, live and play with simplicity, ease, flow and a whole lot of passion! I am extremely passionate about helping and supporting ladies to remember their worth, realise their internal strength and live with self-confidence.

Why do I care so much?

Because I spent years showing up in life as who I thought I was supposed to be, editing myself for society, pleasing others and hiding behind an identity that was suffocating me. I lost sense of who I was, which in turn led me to lose my self-respect, my self-confidence and left me feeling worthless and of little value. For far too long I was listening to an unsupportive and critical voice in my head that I believed was always right…

‘Why do I look like this?’ ‘I’m not good enough’ ‘Of course I can’t do that’

At the same time... I was ignoring a much quieter, more gentle whisper that would try to break through the noise and chaos. I wasn’t interested in what the whisper had to say… trying to convince me that perhaps I wasn’t so useless after all. But over time, I did start to listen… …and gradually, life began to get easier. I learnt to believe more in myself, my mindset and my energy changed, I took action when inspired to do so (even when it seemed totally illogical!) and as a result... my life began to change.

I felt called to study Hypnotherapy, NLP, EFT, Meditation, the Law of Attraction and various other programmes which all played a part in helping me to help others. Which brings me to where I am now… with a passion and a purpose to help and support ladies to live from the truest version of who they are, to own their authenticity and know, without doubt, that they are unique and amazing Beings.

HYPNOSIS EXPLAINED

Let's briefly explore the wonderful world of hypnosis. The word hypnosis itself comes from the Greek word ‘hypnos’ which means sleep... although hypnosis itself is not the same as sleep. It is described as a profound state of relaxation with a focused mind.

Is it something weird?

Well, because of how TV and stage shows portray hypnosis, some people have the idea that the hypnotist takes over the participant's mind and takes full control over his or her actions for entertainment purposes. Whilst it can certainly seem this way, the participant actually enters into trance with a willingness to carry out the suggestions and instructions that the hypnotist gives.

Could you be hypnotised to eat a raw onion or run down the street naked?

Yes... but only if you are willing to do so and you want it to happen. You can't be hypnotised against your will and you always, always remain in control.

So... will I hypnotise you to eat a raw onion or run down the street naked?

No.... well not today anyway ;-)

How exactly does it work?

During hypnosis, the questioning part of the mind that likes to challenge and evaluate is temporarily bypassed... allowing beneficial suggestions to be given directly to the subconscious part of the mind which can therefore bring about and embed desired changes in beliefs and behaviours.

What will you feel?

Hypnosis should be a pleasant experience and in fact, many of us naturally drift into this altered state of awareness at various times throughout every day. Whilst relaxed, you will have a focused state of concentration... similar to being completely engrossed in a good book or focused on a TV programme, whereby your attention is narrowly focused on one thing and you are able to close off to other distractions around you.

Can I 'make' you do anything?

No. You are in control. Although you are required to be open minded and follow instructions to allow yourself to drift into a relaxed state, along with a willingness to accept positive suggestions, you cannot be made to do anything against your will.

Why is hypnosis used in therapy sessions?

Because the beliefs that we operate from throughout most of our day, which are safely stored down in the sub-conscious mind, determine our thoughts, feelings and behaviours and although we can make a conscious decision and choice to change something, it can be far more powerful and speedier when we gain access to the beliefs at this deeper level, where positive suggestions are then made.

So... is hypnosis something weird?
